This week’s Clark County All Star of the Week…NANCY KUHNS!
Nancy Kuhns is what we call a “go to” kind of woman. She’s the dream volunteer everyone wants because she’s consistently cheerful, dependable, and willing to help. Need someone to register voters? Ask Nancy. Need someone to fill in last minute? Call Nancy. Going to an event around town? You’ll find Nancy already there when you arrive, pitching in with one task or another.
A volunteer for Organizing for America since 2008, Nancy has been a dedicated activist for the Democratic Party. She is a precinct captain and team leader, has trained volunteers how to register voters, phone bank, and talk to people in their neighborhoods about the President’s agenda. She has volunteered on numerous Democratic candidates’ campaign sand is always among the first to challenge the conservative spin with both facts and grace.
Nancy is also a champion of the homeless and the poor, coordinating food banks, hygiene and clothing drives for some of our most underserved and forgotten citizens. A tireless advocate for universal civil rights, Nancy embodies the heart and soul of altruism.
Nancy serves on the executive board of the Clark County Democratic Party, The Clark County and the Nevada State Democratic Party central committees, and is a member of numerous local Democratic clubs and caucuses. Way to go, Nancy, and THANK YOU for your dedication to our community!
